Game Summary

Lady Grizzlies win 5-0 over Stanback

Your Lady Grizzly soccer team played possibly their best game of the season with several key players out with injuries. They beat Stanback 5-0 by playing great TEAM soccer. Passing and possession by the Grizzlies looked like a well tuned high school team. Rosie Robbins had a goal and 2 assists. Rosie played goal for over half of the game and had 4 saves. Starting goalkeeper, Michelle Guevara, also had a goal and 3 saves in goal. Summer Brooks had a goal and an assist. Our leading goal scorer, Lizbeth Carbajal, also had 2 goals. The defence and midfield dominated time of possession by keeping the ball on the bulldogs side of the field for most of the game! The coaches are so proud of this team and how they are applying everything we work on in practice in the games!
