Carrboro Women's Soccer State Finals

The Carrboro Women's Soccer Team advanced to the NCHSAA 2A State Championship by defeating Dixon 2-1 in the Regional Finals.  The Jaguars will play West Stokes on Saturday May 27 at 5:00pm at Dail Field on the campus of NC State University.  Admission is $8.00. Parking is across from the field.

GIRLS BASKETBALL | Varsity

Coach Dillard-Clanton is a native of Durham NC.   A graduate of Hillside High School and North Carolina Central University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Education. 

Her coaching career started in 1993, she accepted her first coaching job as an assistant at her alma mater Hillside High School, staying for thee years where they won the State Championship n 1996.  Then Dillard-Clanton spent two years as an Assistant Coach at the University of Alabama-Huntsville (1996-1998) two years as an assistant coach at Xavier University of New Orleans (1998-2000). Two years as assistant and head coach at Riverside Academy, Reserve Louisiana (2000-2003) and spent the past four years at Hillside High School (2003-2007).


In 2007, she became the first head coach to lead the Carrboro Women’s Basketball Program.  Coach Dillard-Clanton is currently teaching Healthful Living.  In 2012 and 2013, Coach Dillard-Clanton guided the Lady Jaguar Basketball Program to back-to-back state play-off appearances. She is looking forward to continuing to turn the program into a respected and competitive presence in the newly joined Mid-State 2A Conference. Coach Dillard-Clanton during the 2012-2013 season had her first of hopefully many to come All Conference Player of the Year and NC All-Star East Team Participant. Coach Dillard-Clanton has said “every year I look forward to us getting better and being more competitive in the classroom and on the court”
