Girls Lacrosse Update
We are very excited to have Girls Lacrosse join the sports program at Eno River Academy in the Spring of 2021. Girls Lacrosse is a great sport that requires and improves coordination, athleticism, and determination; it leads to confidence both on and off the field. My three daughters at ERA all play lacrosse. My oldest is an incoming Freshman this year who has been playing for 8 years. My 2nd and 5th graders both started playing in kindergarten. I have been coaching both club and travel teams over the past 7 years. If you enjoy sports, competition, and being a part of a team, we encourage you to consider playing.
If anyone is interested in playing a spring sport, curious about the game of lacrosse, and would enjoy games that improve stick skills and highlight the fundamentals of lacrosse, please fill out this form.
You do NOT have to have any previous experience. We will teach all the fundamentals!
I would love to have open field days this summer to start working on building a team for the spring.
The school has equipment to share during field days if needed.
I will not hold any ERA workouts until it is cleared by the state and the school but having the contact information will help me get the information to you as soon as we are able to play.
What is needed to play lacrosse:
Girls lacrosse stick (20 sticks are available for loan)
Goggles (we have some available for loan)
Mouth Guard (must provide your own)
